Most expensive chocolate ever!!!!!!!

Switzerland!
Once we got to Switzerland we saw lots and lots of Swiss Army knife shops and Swiss watch shops. On the first day of Switzerland we bought a chocolate block for $30!!!!! We also went to the Swiss Alps where the Matterhorn is ( there's a ride of it at Disneyland). We went on a walk around the Matterhorn wich was really fun. The next day we went to another place in Switzerland called Lucern. At Lucern we climbed another mountain and at the bottom of the mountain there was a really cool park. We bought a lot of knives on the last day one of them is mine. I got mine engraved. That's all for Switzerland now we are going home to Australia! So I will see you soon!

Stairs, Stairs and more stairs!

This blog is about three different places in Italy, Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre. So that means that I going to give you the short version:
First we went to Florence where we climbed two massive towers, one of them had 443 stairs, the second one had 643 stairs. That's why I called my blog post ' stairs stairs and more stairs '. We were only there for one night.

Next we went to Rome. At Rome we went to the Coliseum where all the gladiators would fight. We also went to the Vatican in Vatican City ( it's a country in a country, it's all very confusing. ) The Vatican is an amazingly big church and home for the Pope. It also has one of the most famous paintings in the world by Michael Angelo ( not the turtle, the artist. ). Then we went to St. Peter's Basilica. It's another church. On our to a gelato place we sore JACK BLACK working on a move called 'the polker King'. Then we made our way to Cinque Terre.

Before we went to Cinque Terre we headed up to the leaning tower of piza! Everyone there was leaning or pushing or holding up the tower so we did different poses. We also climbed it. Once we got to Cinque Terre we had a swim at a rock beach. The next day we went to another rock beach. Then we were going to start a big walk but we saw something really cool it was a paddle boat with a slide!!!!! After that we went on the big walk. On the third day of Cinque Terre we hired kayaks and got free snorkels also with them so we kayaked up to a beach where we snorkelled. It was all, very beautiful and fun. That's all for Italy because we are going of to Switzerland!!!!!

Venice / maze of doom

When we went to Venice we did a lot of cool things. But first to get there we had to get a train across the water then go on a water bus. ( because there are no roads people use gondolas , small boats as the taxis and big boats as buses. ) that night we had our first gelato which tasted amazing. The next day we went up a clock tower  that we thought we were going to have walk up it but it turned out to have an elevator. On the last day we got a gondola ride around the canals and I got a really cool mask because they are like the popular thing in Venice. Anybody could get lost in Venice because there are tiny streets and they all look the same. You have to rely on google maps and your memory to work out where you are going and that's why I called it the maze of doom.

Hi Heidelberg

The first thing we did was rest at our enormous apartment. Then we got a sneebollen ( wich is a pastrie thing that has been lathered with toppings ). We walked to a funicular that would take us up to the top of the mountain wich had a castle in the middle . By the time we got to the top it was raining so we went down after some pictures. The next day we went an awesome park with great play equipment. There was a snake see-saw that was really cool. We went to a really cool place for dinner with trees in the middle of it.

I amsterdam

We headed off to Amsterdam and got our selves a new hire car which is so Massive! Once we got there we made our way to 'Amsterdam Apartments dandelion 3 ' ( wich is the place we stayed at.) on the first day at Amsterdam we walked along the canals and went to the Vincent Vangogh museum which has all his artworks but one of them. We also got audio guides. We saw the flower pot one, it's called 'sunflowers'.  We learned that Vangogh did 'sunflowers' based on dead flowers , wich is weird and interesting at the same time. Overall there were lots of really good paintings there. The next day we went on a boat ride which was really fun because we saw a lot. We also did a bike ride because EVERYONE rides bikes in Amsterdam. We went on a bike tour and we didn't have the best time. The tour guide swore ALOT and I stacked on my bike 4 times, it was as if I hadn't ridden a bike before but it was harder to ride in Amsterdam than in Australia because there are motorbikes, cars and bikes everywhere. Here are the 4 stacks I had on my bike:
1. As soon as I got on the bike my foot got caught in the wheel so I fell.
2. Then I stopped so abruptly that I fell over again
3. I was riding across the road when a lady stopped and I was stuck at the side of the road and a car came so I almost got run over!
4. There are trams that run through the city ( they are basically like train but on the road. ) and I rode my bikes into the tram tracks.
Fun fact: there are more than 15 thousand bikes at the bottom of the canals every year!

Just slightly colder than an iceberg!

Munich here we come! In Munich we went to the Neuschwanstein Castle which is in the 3rd book of Land of stories! ( I love those books! ) The person who made the castle was called King Ludwig, that's also the name of a Mariocart 8 character that Nate always uses so that was funny when we first heard the name.We got a carriage ride up to half way up the mountain to the castle. That day we had six giant pretzels that we pretended were facial hair. We went to a Lake which was very cold but not as cold as what's to come. Now on to the second day, we went to English gardens ( which is really big.) and we went to a park for a little bit. We then went to the rapids (which  is still in the English gardens. ) The Rapids were SERIOUSLY COLD! They were just slightly colder than an iceberg. After we found a spot to put our stuff we had to wait before getting in because there was a nude old man about to get in the water. We got in eventually, because the guy had left. Where we got in was a little down the rapid. Once we swam back to our stuff the old nude guy had come back with his old nude friends and his nude wife. We moved places after that. Overall the Rapids were fun.
